the doc and I have been going back and forth on weather or not I will be having surgery on both of my hands for carpel tunnel. the left hand is severe. I am a taxidermist and a mechanic so for the last 17 years or so I have done everything with my hands. I dont want the surgery for now because the recovery time is more than my wallet can handle being out of work. so we have been trying different natural meds and hand exercises. yesterday is the first day I have picked up a bow in 6-7 months.
I went out to a local WMA that has a very NON upkept walk through archery range. I only shot it twice and spent some time picking up some trash. it was nice to shoot again.
but the best news is the thereapy is working because I had NO PAIN in my wrists or hands during or after shooting!!!!

Glad it worked out for you --- as I type this w/one hand due to my carpal tunnel surgery last week....
Fortunately I was able to shoot including the morning before leaving for the hospital. Unfortunately I wasn't able to feel my fingers and the nerve test showed possible damage.
PM me sometime & I'll let you know how long it takes to get back to shooting after surgery. My Dr knows I have an elk hunt to practice for!
Best of luck.

I know several doubt it but with personal knowledge surgery would be my last resort as I'd try chiropratic methods first. It does work! Nope I'm not a chiro either but have seen it work for myself and others and we all did it for all the reasons you mentioned. Amazed it worked but proof is in the pudding!

Good for you! Hope everything turns out good!
