Well the turkeys have not been cooperating so a guy I am building a bow for invited me to a 3D shoot in Fountain Head park in VA. The group I shot with was great and most of us shot the best round score that we have ever put out. This was a very challenging 25 animal course (including one gator). Weather/temp was perfect and you could hardly get to the 12 ring due to all of the arrows packed in there. What a great day full of great practice!
I'm the misfit shooting the only long bow of the group...it was fresh out of finishing and still smelled of tru oil and poly.

The Grey Ghost...46# at 28" grey action wood and red/black phenolic....super quiet and quick!

Awsome. Nothing more fun than shooting a round with friends on a nice day. Nice looking bow too! :)

Better give me credit for manning the desk when you came in, or I'll publish your scores!

Dimondback it was great shooting with you that day! Man we were all shooting lights out that day. We had more twelves in that one group than some have in an entire year! Yikes! :scared: That bow of urs sure is sweet looking and shoots just as good as she looks. Those Brandywine arrows were really zipping out of it.

Thanks Guys!....and Killdeer....you did an absolutely wonderful job running the desk that day..gimped up leg and all....sorry you couldn't shoot with us, it would have been nice to get to know you better!...and I am very proud of my 212/300 by the way. :D

Just finished Paul Vogel's bow yesterday for those who saw it in it's unfinished state at the shoot...turned out well, is darn near silent and slings em faster than the Grey Ghost...Paul has not seen it yet so you guys get a sneak preview. I have about 100 arrows through it and it is a shooter! Not a bad trade for 2 dozen custom footed Brandywine's huh? Check it...
