Title: Trail cam ?
Post by: daniel boon on June 23, 2012, 12:10:00 PM
Have been trying to decide on a trail cam. Do not need all the balls and whistles, just something that takes good pics, and is easy to operate,I am a bit challenged that way.
Ease of set-up and retreival of pics a priority.
So far I am leaning towards Moultrie M80,or D55. The Bushnell Trophy Cam also sounds good, but it seems to be a bit harder to operate.
Any opinions on the ones mentioned? Or any other recomendations, for me to look at?
 Easy to OPPERATE
Tanks Dan

I haven't used the other two but have some Bushnells and am not sure what you mean by harder to operate.I find them to be an excellent camera and simple to operate.I had an M80 here that belonged to a friend and it is also small, compact and seems to be an excellent camera. He has a ton of experience with different cameras and uses the M80 and Bushnells.

I have a bushnell, not the easiest menu system, and if you do go this way don't bother getting the viewer its to small, dark, and crappy to be useful.

the stealth cams are not a bad unit for the price.

I have the Bushnell and Moultrie M80.  I like the wide angle pictures of the M80 but if the animal is moving at night the picture is a little blurry same way with the Bushnell.  I just bought the new M80XD with motion freeze but have not looked at any pictures yet.  Both take great pictures. Battery life is very good on both.  Both easy to operate.
