Title: Quiver going to Russia
Post by: Mike Yancey on July 18, 2012, 12:47:00 PM
Had a bowhunter in Russia contact me to build him a set of Native Style hunting arrows and a Plains Style Quiver. Ed Scott is building a bow for him and this guy in Russia is going to get to actually bow hunt with this set up that we are making for him.

He told me that it was quite a deal to get to do something like this there in Russia.

I'd rather you sent it to my house. But hey, gotta share with our brothers over there too.
Nice work, as with ALL your stuff!

I used to work with a Russian Pentecostal preacher and a Ukrainian, and they both told me most of the hunting there was done by "foreigners with a lot of money", although the wildlife is evidently highly praised, the preachers wedding gift from his father was 2 trapped fox hides, and the Ukrainian told me he saved up for 4 months to get a hat lined with coon fur. I hope that the gear this gentleman is getting is put to good use, nice job of ambassadorship guys.

Got off on a tangent there, sorry. Great job on the Quiver he should be very happy with that, since West Virginia is between you and Russia it could stop here long enough to go to Denton Hill with me and get "Broke in".

That's a beautiful quiver Mike!  The arrows look great also!  He should be very proud to own such nice looking equipment.
