We had planned to have a Trad shoot over at one of our homes (a couple of us have set up backyard 2D ranges) once we got enough Frogs to adda cookout to the fun. Well we finally had around 50 or so legs to make it worth while and set this past Saturday as the day to gather.
Only problem was two of the main characters of some of the Frog adventures would not make it due to higher priorities that came up as the weekend approached.
Kirk Barnard and his Son in Law Riley were obligated to help there church in installing new seating in there newly remodel church.

Altough we truely missed them (Maybe Riley not as much :biglaugh: ) I know the Lord will bless them!

Well, on Saturday it was forecasted to rain all day, but the good Lord allow us to get a couple of rounds in between thunderstorms, and I believe everyone had a great time.
Tommy Ballinger invited a friend from his work, Tal Fowler and he really took to shooting a Trad bow quickly,

The only problem was he broke the #1 rule of Trad shoot etiquette :readit: I had informed Tommy to brief Tal that it would be really rude to shoot a higher score then the host...obviously he failed to mention this to him :saywhat:

Man, was I surprised to see my good friend Bob's picture on Trad Gang! He has been telling me of some good folks he shoots with, and how I should participate. I will be back in Hurley full time soon and hope to fling a few with y'all.

Steve,
Mr. Kennedy is a true wealth of Archery knowledge and not only the in's and out's of how to but the local history of the sport on the Gulf Coast. Keep in touch i'm sure we will meet soon.
