As of yesterday, I'm a bow carrying member of the Blacktail Snakebit club! (Thanks again to R.W. Mackey!).
Just thought I would show mine off. Now I just have to get my shoulder healed to I can shoot it! :banghead:
How many other "members" are out there??

Nice! I think that's the first Snakebit I've seen with macassar ebony. Pretty snakewood in your bow.
I'm an aspiring member and should be a full fledged member in a couple weeks or so. The first 18 months went faster than the final two weeks...lol.
-
Allen,2 lefties reside here! The Snakewood is so personal that no 2 bow are alike.Excellent shooters and I rate them in the top ones I have owned.
-
Fantastic Allen!

Thanks guys! Felix, I knew you had two. I was just in awe when I opened the box yesterday.
Tod, don't worry...it's well worth the wait.
The grip on this bow is probably the best I have ever held.
Barry, I built an 8 strand Ultra Cam string with out Double Katz silencers, and she is as quiet as any recurve that I have owned. ;)
-
Well Allen,I need 2 of those strings for my Snakebit 1-60" and 1-62".Please say Barry I pay you directly then you'll adjust with him;single Kats,to be 7 1/2" brace.Black and red. Thanks

Very nice bud!!

Congrats, Allen! Beautiful bow

I have one with two sets of limbs. The myrtle is the tiger stripe variety, as your's also appears to be. Easily the most gorgeous bow I own out of my four dozen beautiful custom bows. Norm is a great guy, an outstanding bowyer, and a woodcrafter supreme.

Allan,
With a torn up shoulder you are still buying. You are incorrigible, lol. Another beautiful bow.
-
Man it's gonna be hard dropping that beauty down a rope from a treestand banging it all all the llimbs on the way down. Then it will surely bounce off one of the limbs and bang into a metal step, sticks or ladder and leave a love mark on it. When it happens buddy don't cry, its a character mark not a ding.
Great looking Blacktail.

I can't shoot, so I may as well trade bows Tom!
TJ, this one is so shiny, I don't know if I can make myself take it hunting. It may just have to be 3D bling!

Wow thats a beautiful lefty. Congrats Allen
-
A.S. hey buddy if he is that close to see the glossy finish, you would have him in the back of the truck taking his final ride!!!!!! good luck BEAUTIFUL BOW!
-
 Congrats Allen!!

Very nice bow hanging in that Pin Oak! Congrats to you.
See that telephone pole in the background? The biggest live 8-point I've seen was standing just too the right of it last year in early November.

That is awesome Roy! I hope you don't mind me borrowing your pics. It is rainy here today, so I didn't want to take her out and get her wet!

Welcome to the club Allen. Another fine looking piece of work by the master. I agree Norm's grips are the BEST!
