Title: more pics pg 5...Missouri Buck.... I put my trade to work today

You folks all saw the beautiful recurve that Burshwolf / Mike Tenley built for the bow trade this year..  well I don't have or own a bow that I won't hunt and Mikes bow is no exception and it preformed flawlessly today...  about a hour after sunup this fella fell to Mikes bow. He gave me a quartering to me shot and I hugged the shoulder...  we took out the lungs and the top of the heart...  no tracking here...  I want to thank everyone here on the bowyers bench for allowing me to be a part of the swap and to Mike for drawing my name and building such a special bow...

I'm hunting on a farm in Missouri. This is the first time I've hunted in the midwest. I bought this hunt to benefit Whitetails Unlimited. I am the only Traditional shooter here and so far this is the only buck taken. I still have a doe and turkey tag to fill and another four days to hunt so the game continues !!!

Kenny I'm on a farm just out of Carrollton....  we really got a break with this cool weather. The deer are really starting to move. One of the guys saw a 160/170 pushing a doe last night so there are some really good deer here.

Not one of those guys that can film and hunt at the same time but I did take a small video from my stand location and a couple of pictures of the entry and exit wound....  entry high and tight to the shoulder...  exit lower and back.. set up was Mikes killer recurve trade 60 45@27... GT trads, Sliverflame broadheads(German)... 487grains total... Shot turmed out 29 paces from the base of the tree.

While I was there the film crew from Bowhunting Addiction TV was there filming...  I kind of felt the odd duck being the only stick bow hunter but they were a great bunch of guys. Some of the wheel guys got to shoot a Mikes recurve ....  converts maybe   :)  

I told Don and Pops that if they lost the wheels for a couple of hunts they would have a ready made audience here on Tradgang (37,400 plus)....
