Title: Adjusting an Arrowmaster quiver
Post by: NBK on October 30, 2012, 03:39:00 PM
Just received an arrowmaster from Rod, having been a bow quiver guy for a long time.  Any suggestions on how to adjust the quiver for a proper fit?  I've read about carabiners, but mine didn't come with one.  Also, the shoulder strap was doubled up when I took it out of the box, but to get it long enough I had to make it a single now with long ends hanging out of the buckles.  I'd sure like to make this work, but right now it seems a bit bulky and awkward.

I bought a Duiker model from Green awhile back and the strap is on single ( not doubled over) and Mine has a small carabiner about a 1 1/2" long hooked in the D ring by the bottom buckle. Hope this helps.

I assume the carabiner is to hook to a belt loop to keep the quiver from swinging around as you walk or bend over.

Mike - get a cheap caribiner at your local sporting goods store and put it through the lower D ring or around the strap....whatever fits your body size/belt location the best.

Unless they changed the strap system since I bought mine a couple of years ago it has a doubled strap and you slide the bottom slider up to lengthen the strap. No loose end or anything. Sling over my left shoulder and access with right hand. The carabiner is to attach to your belt but I never use it. I'd call Rod.

I have the old carabiner style with single strap and it works awesome for me.My wife has the new style. Its lighter and has the double strap. Both work awesome.Best quiver I've ever used.I let it hang low on my side so I can draw a arrow with a straight arm through the opening .Then just slide it to my back when not drawing from it.Very easy. Just work with it a bit and it will be fine.
