Bob,
Great timing, as my "piggy bank" is almost full enough for a set of back-ups and I figured if I wanted a set I'd be limited to the Cheyenne.  Is it offered in recurve (Arapaho)as well as long bow limb configurations?  I've read good things about them, but could you elaborate if they're an improvement over the carbon/foam design?
Thanks

My Max1 ILFs are the cats behind. My only issue with them was getting used to the new trajectory. They're quick

Olddogrib, it's my understanding that the Max1 is a newly designed recurve limb that is an improvement over his current recurve limbs.  It is not available in longbow limbs.  He had already designed them for the ILF versions first, then the Cheyenne and now for the Shawnee.

The Max1 limbs are available only in recurve. I don't think there is anyway to make a longbow limbs to feel or preform like the Max1 recurve limb. We use the same carbons and foam in the longbow so they are very stable and good speed, but still they gain 3# per inch, Max1 recurves 2#.

Just got a set of Super Short MAX I's for my wifes's DAS riser. Makes a 56" bow. It is currently set at 44# @ 26". The pic shows how the limb tips open near the end of the draw. She has been shooting WIN&WIN XQ-1 limbs for about 7 years. These are quicker, quieter, more accurate than her original limbs.

Here's a pic of the bow strung on the couch. It has a 6 3/4 inch brace height and does not require nearly the amount of silencing material on her XQ-1's and in the pic there is more trimming I can do to the puffs...but it is as quiet as a church mouse and she won't let me change anything at the moment.

Guess what I have on order? I have shot Winex, Hoyts, Borders, Buffalo and a few others. These new limbs from Bob have more desireable shooting characteristics than the others I have shot. He seems to have taken the best from all of them and managed to get them into one limb. For me, being able to keep the bow as short as possible is a big plus. Hope I didn't forget to say how quiet, fast and accurate they are.

Looking for a high performance limb made in the USA....this it it!
It takes a lot to impress me and these limbs are impressive.

saw those limbs on Laura's bow the other day when I was at Bill's and I agree those limbs opens up and very quiet when he shot them...and very quick as well..Bill knows about limbs and like he said he shot them all and just about owned them all as well..he told me he had a set on order and if he is ordering them then they must be good as his Win limbs were amazing so these are better....cant wait to see them Bill..then I will order my set  :)
