Actually, Santa knows better than that. I had to buy this for myself. There is a thread link to the build-along on the knife forum, but wanted to just slip in a picture of why I can't buy any bows for a while :) Think this will zip open a buck?
The guys who frequent the knife forum will recognise this as a Lin Rhea beauty. For those of you who don't normally hang out on the knife forum, take a look at the link below.

Lin's knives are top knotch... some of the best out there IMO. He never puts out an ugly knife either!
Beautiful.

beautiful knife for sure.

Wow, Ron, that's a beauty! You seem to be acquiring a lot of pretty stuff here lately.

Yeah, Frank's bow came in yesterday. Shot it for the first time today. Beautiful bow.
I mailed mine to him the same day (Wednesday) and they haven't delivered it yet. That always scares me.

Seems like everything takes longer to get to Iowa for some reason. Stuff I mail always arrives a day or two ahead of things sent to me. Did you get a tracking number? I always watch that. It would surprise you to know where some things go before they get delivered.
I ordered some shirts from a place in Grimes, Iowa, about two hours south of me. It went to Manhattan, KS, then to Kansas City, MO, then to St. Paul, MN, then Mason City, IA, and finally to Manly. It took six days to get here. And we wonder why the government is broke.

That is awesome

I'm glad you like it Ron. It was my pleasure.

Lin, I think the pleasure is all mine.
Russ, the USPS shows it mailed the 28th in Greenville, MI, clearing the sorting center in Lansing, MI same day.
Now they show it departing Clarksville, IA on Dec 1, but they still expect to deliver it Nov 30. Now THAT'S optimism! What a great tracking system. If we tracked deer like that we'd never eat one :)
Actually, I'm quite impressed with the post office overall, but their tracking system is close to useless. They tell you when they receive it and when they deliver it. It's only when it gets delayed that any intermediate steps show up.
And now I just realized I hijacked my own thread :scared:

I'd have to buy a prettier bow if I owned a knife like that!
