Title: Getting another one started. Maybe more!

I'm feeling good about a certain young man's Christmas. I had a co-worker ask my advice on getting her 12 y.o. son his first bow. She was on a budget, so I was looking for something he could have fun with and stand up to abuse. I had a few suggestions, but she decided on a PSE Snake, which is a composite recurve. I told her to get some youth arrows at the local store, then measure his draw length and see me after Christmas because I was sure I'd have more arrows sitting in a bucket just itching for some kid to use. Pretty sure I have an arm guard and glove too! She was very appreciative. She also mentioned it had been forever since she shot a bow and is thinking about getting back in to it. Made me smile.

God works in silent ways,her son could turn out to be the next Howard Hill or Fred Bear. Great to hear that kind of thing. Good for you,her and him. Good for trad archery.   :bigsmyl:    :thumbsup:
