Well with all the talk, and a lot of years of wanting. I happened acrossed one while I was on the east coast. I forgot my quiver and the shop had the right size BS.... yup I picked it up.
Does anyone else have issues with the nylon tearing their cheek to pieces? Mine was bloodied rather quickly. Found that odd.
Overall I like the glove. Plenty of protection and slick without being over stiff like my cordovan glove with reinforcements. The cordovan grooved extremely fast for my tastes.
IS there anything needed on the nylon?

I've been shooting them for a good number of years and have never had that happen. Is there a rough spot on the leather or nylon somewhere? Did dirt or some other material get imbedded in the nylon? I'm wondering if someone might have tried to burn off a loose thread or fuzz. Too much heat on the nylon melts it, turning it into a hard glass like material. That would certainly cut your face. I usually trim the leather close to the stitching, more for looks than anything else, but that does remove excess leather at the fingertips that could potentially contact the face. That's about all I can come up with. Long story short, it shouldn't be happening. Hope you can find and correct the problem. Good luck.

I bought it new and have done nothing but shot it....I cant speak for what happened in the store. It didnt appear shot/burned.
The glove itself is about new, just bought it last week while I was down south.

I got one a couple months ago and really like it. Mine has not cut my face. My only complaint it I was the strap was a single strap that wrapped around your wrist and velcroed on top of your wrist. The two piece strap that velcros on the bottom of your wrist is more difficult for me.

I have shot one for several years now with no real issues. I really like them, very easy on the fingers. The only thing I have had happen once was in really cold weather sitting in a tree stand when I pulled the string back the finger tips squeaked.

I'm one my 2nd one and haven't had an issue with either one.

When I first got my mine my cheek was raw for a week or so, not sure if I toughened up or changed my form because it stopped doing it but it is the best glove you can get and it should last you quite awhile!

My son had the same problem, depending on your anchor it is either the stitching or the finger protectors; had to get him a different glove.

My first one never hurt my face but I bought a new one for a back-up and it scratched my face. I think it will be ok after I use it awhile.

I've had mine A few years now the fingers grooved out and it feels like I'm wearing a hockey glove. The finger protection is great. I been using a damascus glove lately because of the grooving.I don't recall it scratching my face.

At least you know your getting a consistent anchor.I've been using one since they came out don't ever recall having the nylon cut my cheek.

I definatly like the glove. Gonna keep at it, and plan on ordering a couple more, gonna see if its possible to get that nylon a little wider so its not digging into my face. Maybe I'm just holding my head crooked, hand tweaked, standing on one foot, hopping, scratching my armpit wrong :) . I've been known to do more goofy things hehe.
I agree that strap is kinda different. Almost like the velcro is backwards for me anyways. But like I said, I'm kind of a goofy backwards kinda guy ;) .
I've only been back on a glove for a little over a year now, before that it's been a tab for the last 10-12 years. before that I shot a damascus style glove. Dunno what happened in the last 20 years but I cant shoot the damascus anymore. Just not enough protection. Back in the day it was every day year round (if you ever saw a kid riding out the east side st paul with a bow on the handle bars and a back quiver on it was likely me shooting the phalen lake range, or bwana, and compound doc). Shot a cordovan tab and really loved it till my knuckles started hurting. Went to the batemen cordovan glove with the reinforced stalls and liked it but it grooved really fast. With all the talk on the bigshots and running acrossed one while in PA 2 weeks ago I couldnt resist...along with everything else I had to have LOL!

Take a look at the new glove they offer, the crossover, it has the nylon inside the glove and leather on the outside

Own 4...well now 3 since my cooler full of gear was stolen....but no issues at all. LOVE THEM.
