Title: Arrow question for my longbow...
Post by: Rustic on January 11, 2013, 09:25:00 AM
My GT3555s with a 225 gr field point are just a little over spined for my 48# longbow. I shoot off the knuckle and I'm thinking about going to the GT1535s. What other arrow brands have the same spine including aluminum?

Several options available, each manufacturer has spine charts available on their respective websites. That being said, 3Rivers has a chart for each shaft/arrow that they offer listed under the individual products as you click on them. Keeps you from having to bounce all over the web initially and if you get it narrowed down to 1 or 2, you can then do more research.

You may need something weaker than a 600 spine shaft if you are shooting off your knuckle and the bow doesn't have any shelf at all.

Have you tried that arrow full length?

I am thinking the same thing. Right now I just want to experiment with 1 or 2 arrows before I buy a doz. I'll check some local sporting goods stores....Thanks again
