Title: Just a Few Bow Quivers Being Processed
Post by: 2fletch on March 04, 2013, 07:36:00 PM
We were working on several bow quivers here in the shop when I decided to stop and take a photo of some of them. I like some of the exotic snakeskins, beavertail, and sharkskin, as I know some of you do also. It's a pleasure that nature provides us that can't be duplicated by high tech. Oh well, I hope that you enjoy the photo, and thanks to the many of you who have been so easy to know over the years.   (http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n64/2fletch/57341c3f-29b3-41a1-baa5-59ee8c3fbd85.jpg)

Wow, Oregon Sturgeon skin really sounds good. I hope that you will follow up on that. I would like to see that on one of our quivers. To date, the only fish that we have used is carp skin, and it worked pretty well.

Anyone ever tried catfish skin. It's been 50 years since I skinned one but it's seems that they were pretty tough. Don't have a clue what it would look like tanned and dyed, but hope to find out soon.

I really love my cherokee in all black leather.  Looks great on my Don Dow stik.  These are the lightest quivers I've found, which is exactly what I wanted on the bow.  Keep it up guys!

Those are pretty cool.  Love my two EFA's, but now I think I need one with beavertail.

Here's another photo with some of the same quivers along with our Mesa series and a horsehide Apache quiver. In addition to plain 3 and 4 arrow quivers we make a lot of exotic quivers of various styles, sizes and skins. I hope that you enjoy (http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n64/2fletch/DSCN1930.jpg).
