Just bought this bow. it is marked on the front of the bow H.S.B 62" 55 28" looks like maybe Osage or similar Color wood has something Black for backing.
Any Ideas what I Just Bought? :bigsmyl:

Your bow is very rare and valuable. It was made in 1955 by Hans Saugmann Bjerregaard (HSB) in Kjellerup, Denmark.
:rolleyes: sorry, just kidding.
I've seen these bows before, but know little about them. I think they were made in the 50's, mostly of lemonwood (which does look similar to osage) and the black backings are not fiberglass.
Be careful about shooting it if you have a long draw.
...and yes, we would all like to know what H.S.B. means... :dunno:
