Anybody know which bow Byron actually uses and sells? Bearpaw has a Z bow listed, Zach Ferguson lists a Z bow but has a note that he is no longer selling Byron Ferguson bows, and Byron Ferguson Productions lists the Safari bow for sale but also has a link to Zach's Z bow site. Will the real Byron Ferguson bow please stand up.

Good question.

"WE NO LONGER SALE ANY PRODUCTS IN CONNECTION WITH BYRON FERGUSON"
copied and pasted from Zbow site

Zbows are Byron's designs and Zach builds them. I think after Byron sold his design for the patriot to bear he is no longer able to produce bows himself. Zach does a good job hes a adequate bowyer. I have a Z58 hunter that Zach built last year and it shoots very well. Zach builds the Safari and calls it the Z64 Byron says on one of his videos. That should answer your question?

I've got a z58 on order that should be to the house early next week. I could be wrong but I think zac makes most of the bows that him and/or his dad sells.

The new safari longbows from Byron's website are made by his other son, and Zach does the takedown for them. Zach says he does not build the actuall safari name but does build the same bow in Z64 delux.
The bearpaw version is mostly marketed for European distribution although you can get them thru some American based distributors.

May there are some patent/sponsor issues???

That would be my guess

So which one is the better bow. I have been wanting one for some time now. I have looked at the z64 that Zac builds. It is a really nice bow. I have only shot the z58,it is a highly reflex deflex bow. It shot very good. I like the more mild reflex deflex like the z64 or the royal safari. So I guess I could buy a royal safari from Byron or a z64 from Zac and still be buying the same bow just one built by Byron and one built by Zac.

The z64 deluxe and the safari are basically the same bow. You get more options with the z64 deluxe as its s full custom. The safari from Byron is basically a stock with options or semi custom
