Hi all! Last year I joined the Decatur Archery Club with myself and my family we all shoot recurve or longbow. We were the only members there shooting traditional but regardless we had a great time and my youngest daughter even won a very nice trophy. This year we have a new president and hes has gone to great lengths to make sure this year is much better with new targets and shoots and plenty of things all about getting the kids into archery. So if you live in or around Macon county come on down and join up. I would sure like to meet some of you and have some fun shootin. Our shoots are the first Sat and Sun every month starting in March. Sure hope to see some of you there! :archer:

I might shoot it sometime. I used to go there with a friend, and his wife. They moved back to PA, and I seemed to be the only Trad shooter left.

I know the feeling trad is rare around here but it will be a ton of fun there will be 2 survival shoots and 2 coon shoots this year!

That's in my neighborhood, too. Is the range still over on the east side?

There are usually several groups of Traditional shooters that attend Black Diamond Archery Club shoots in Canton, Il. They have a face book page.

Yep its still on the east side on north country club road.... There is a FBook page its The Decatur Archery Club. They just posted the schedule up on there.

We'd love to have you shoot with us Jered! Your close we live in Clinton. Theres a nice range here too not nearly as much on the activities though...
