At one point you were talking about some new products like flannels, new vests, etc.
Any updates you can give?

hello OK would appreciate some input
I have sample cotton Flannel shirts in Grouse Haven and Little Delta-- hate to brag, but these are simply the best material.
MY delema is-- this material can only be bought from Portugal. Italy and Portugal make the best cotton flannel in the world- thus it cost more -- this is the softest material - it is also heavy --
I want to continue to make USA products, however, making them here in this case will be .more expensive -- shipping from Portugal to the US 19% duties - customs - clearing - freight .
I have alwasy said I could not make everything in the US-- I look at products all over the world- I hope to post photo's - Gary Logsdon has one of the First Cotton Flannel Grouse Haven shirts - I will get him to post--
Doing clothing is an unbelieveble challange -
PLease keep in mind these are All CUSTOM colors.
What would you do ?? RT

Here's a photo of me wearing my cotton flannel "Grousehaven" shirt. It's heavy but not hot, very soft and quiet. Diffuses light really well too. It's a good choice for warmer weather hunting, summer 3D shoots, and casual wear.

this heavy cotton flannel is a very mello looking Grouse Haven plaid - it looks lie the Fred Bear print that was offered by Compton--
It will be avail in Little Delta Green plaid again a faded classic look --
Thanks Gary I will learnn to post Rob T

PM'd you. Was going to place an order online, and it wanted to charge me for shipping. Do I need to call you direct to get free shipping?
Thanks

To answer your question, I would stick with american made products.

I have a Rover and several hats from Rob. First class clothing all the way. He has gone above and beyond to stay "USA". However, reality is reality. Many companies must make some items overseas in order to still make some here. If one doesn't understand that, I'm sorry, but they just don't understand the modern business world.
I for one, having had a lot of outdoor retail experience since 1993 would certainly buy a cotton flannel from Rob, if of the highest quality, no matter the nation of origin. I've bought European made rifles scopes, European rifles and shotguns and German made Puma knives. They are some of the best hunting gear I own.
It's not as if Rob is buying junk material from the far East.
Trying to find high quality cotton flannel, made in the USA at prices traditional archers will pay is like finding an Apple I Phone made by union workers in Detroit. Good luck with that.
Here we have a gentleman that caters to the traditional archery crowd and he's trying his best to make shirts and coats that the traditional folks want to own. I will support that, 100%!

I will definitely be getting one when they become available, cant wait.

I received a Little Delta wool shirt for Christmas and couldn't be more pleased. Great shirt, made in U.S.A.. Rob is doing it right. Jim
-
I told my wife when my time comes to bury me in my Little Delta shirt!
-
I've owned a wool double rover jacket for several years now. It's a quality, well made product professionally tailored.
-
yep i got same one...love it
talked to rob a couple times about warm weather options...as in over 50*...in the 70s even..in a cotton flannel or lighter weight wool that breaths like cotton.

HI guys -- here is the approxiate diference in producing these in Portugal
Please remember that the big guys, companies, do 5,000 - up to 20,000 pieces. Most do not do any in the US --- the highest price on a top end shirt by a high end company is $139.00 - $149.99
That is where the cost would be out of the US
Material from Portugal because it is the best one can buy - Portugal price -- about $119.00 might be less -- all depends on the NUMBERS
Yes, expensive, but I feel the best -- heavy-
cotton flannel --- the only way to describe the material is that is feels like a babies cotton diaper --actualy better - I know material -- it does not get better -- I guarantee it -- I am going to call it '
" The Base Camp Shirt "
PLease put this in perspective - a dozen quality arrrows cost $150.00 ++ all tricked out-- how long will they last - this shirt,
a very long time -- something to think about
Stay warm my friends ! RT
