Title: First trad kill, FINALLY!!!

After months of hunting and several misses and blown oppertunities the winds were finally in my favor yesterday! Had some visitors early, but opted to wait for something bigger. Oh, that is my first glass bow too!

Conrats very nice and good shoot'n ! I still get buck fever after 44 years hunting with a bow and it doesn't matter what the critter is I get EXCITED ...

Thx everybody, Britt I admire your commitment! Kenny, your right bro! I saw somebody on here say "it's the trad way or it's no way"!  I've taken lots of game with compounds but ain't nothin compare to this! Especially making your own bows!  I even put my wheel bow up for sale last week. Maybe that's what it took for me to finally be successful with trad!? Hummm?

Congrats!!!!! I'm really excited for ya! I'm still waiting for my first land-dwelling trad kill. I got a couple of carp before, but nothing with legs, yet... Great job, pulling it all together and making a great shot!

Thx everyone!! My only regret is that I waited so long to get into traditional archery! It's not only addicting but it's therapeutic too. Have a stressful day or week or whatever I just go grab a bow and sling a few. Or work on the next bow or arrows or something and everything just fades away! Well, for a few hours at least!
