I am always on the lookout for some Winona Bob Fratzke vintage camo. I have a neighbor who has a bunch but it is way too big for me. He did end up finding some original fabric pieces that he bought from Bob Fratzke when he closed down shop. He swares he has more but can not find it. I feel fortunate to have it now and want to do something cool with it. I am thinking about having it sewn together for a very cool blanket. Anyone else have any ideas??? I have 2 pieces and each is approx 36" by 42" when folded over so fabric is on both sides as shown.

I love the vest. Maybe the white background part was a little too bright but very comfortable stuff. I had sweater , pants and vest.
Not sure where the other two pieces went.

That would look neat under clear glass on some Silvertip limbs...

Looks like original vintage KUIU Vias pattern. I had some of this many years ago and it was great stuff.

I would make a parka with it.

If you look through Bob Fratzke's book "Taking Trophy Whitetails", you'll see a photo on page 92 of his treestand that has a camo bag attached to it. Bob had this made long before the Heater Body Suit was introduced. It had shoulder straps and more than likely a zipper somewhere. It looks to be attached to the platform so he wasn't standing on the material, just the stand platform itself, for safer footing. I always thought it was a great idea. A guy could use a light-weight sleeping bag or blanket if he wanted a really warm set-up, covered by the camo material.

Kevin - Am sure Winona pattern was way before KUIU was ever dreamed...8^) I always liked the pattern...
Have an orginal Winona floppy hat that is likely the oldest hunting clothing I still own and wear, for it is always in my pack to this day applied atop when it gets a little chilly up there... I know I've had it close to thrity years, even having left it in the woods overnight a time or two, but knowingly it'll be like loosing a long lost friend when finally lost...
BTW, they made a big coverall type blanket thingy that I always wanted at the time but could never afford. Was kinda like a sleeping bag with shoulder straps... Own a Heater body suit now, but would still kinda like to have one of those thingies for when its really cold but not to the extreme for a Heater suit...
