Title: Clicker top or bottom limb

I am about to install a clicker on my 64'' Super Kodiak .Should I install on upper or bottom limb,pros and cons of both.

Most usually mount it on the top limb.
It's closer to you ear, so you can hear it better.

I use to have one on my top limb.... Make sure you trim the chain as much as possible because it with ding and mar you limb if you leave it long

I put them on the top limb.  I remove the chain and replace with cord--got some 750# braided spectra cord from Chad (LBR) at Denton Hill that is absolutely perfect size to fit in the hole in the clicker blade, heat and flatten the end so it won't pull through the hole and no knot is needed.  I tried the release cord they use on compounds but what I got was way too stiff and acted like it had some wire in it.

I put mine on the bottom part of the riser like Scott Antczak. It makes the cord a little longer but I believe improves the function.
