Title: First trad whitetail

I was able to take my first trad deer yesterday evening. By far not the big dear everyone dreams of or the biggest I've taken but this little guy is by far the most meaningful deer To date for me because I made the bow and the arrows! By the way, one of my top two most memorable bucks is my own first trad deer, a spikehorn.

Any animal taken with a bow is a blessing, the hunt within itself is the trophy. Putting it down with your hand made equipment is awesome.   :thumbsup:

Thx everybody, this was the bow I posted on the bowers bench a few weeks back that I built for my cousin but he decided to stick with his cross bow. I was more than happy to keep the bow myself so I built a dozen arras and hit the woods. Now, if i could only get another chance at the 8 point I missed a couple weeks ago!    :biglaugh:
