Title: My son Luke and Bear dog score a buck

My son Luke has been hot on the heels of a great non typical buck for several weeks and has had the buck as close as 15 yards with no quality shot. He has exercised great judgment on passing these marginal opportunities.  I am quite proud of him for that.  A few days back we were getting hammered by high winds and it was hard to just hang in the trees.  Luke hung in there and had this young buck come in at a poor angle. He waited and as the buck turned to leave, made a picture perfect shot.  My blood dog Bear got an assist with his rapid follow up. I was a beaming dad for sure.
