Anybody go this long at 28"? I was thinking of getting a used pair of limbs for my PSA, but at 62" they are longer than the recommended length for my draw. Any problems?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

I have an older MAIII which is a 62" bow and also an SAIII which is 60". I draw 28" with a recurve. It is my opinion that the 62" widow is the best shooting recurve I've ever owned and I love the 62" length. It will be the smoothest shooting bow you own.

Thanks guys. The limbs are in a weight I want, kinda heavier so they are harder to find, plus they match my wood. Hard to pass...

I always prefer to go longer as opposed to shorter on bow length. I never worry about, or notice the extra inch or two when hunting.

Agree with what's been said, a longer bow is smoother even with shorter draw lengths. Best of luck with the new limbs, like to hear what you think of them when you get them.

My dl is 28" and I have no problems hunting with my 62" PSA.It's a smooth shooter and the buck in my avatar wasn't too concerned about how long it was either.Go for it!

I've got to agree with Jeff. If anything, it will be a little smoother to draw. I would go out of my way to go to the 62", as long as it doesn't interfere with a tree stand, and we are talking maybe one inch on the bot. limb.

Smooooooth.

Thanks guys. Looks like I might have missed those limbs, but I might have to consider a 62" PSA or PA soon.
