What is the "best" way to destroy an arrow? I manager to split one of my brand new GT Trads today. Never cool to lose arrows, but some ways are better than others.

Hang them on the wall of your trophy room. Very nice shooting.

When the animal rolls over on them.

Is that three, wow

Good shooting!
I've ruined some stump shooting with blunts and the impact drives the blunt back into the carbon shaft.
-
Good shooting., The first couple are fun, then they get annoying.

Must admit that this was pure (bad) luck. But my shooting suddenly approved when I discovered that I was moving my head towards the string on anchoring. It was after that discovery this happened.

Go Beaver Hunting....
I think my record is 8 arrows in one night.

Stripped off the fletching to check how far in the splitting went, and by cutting the shaft down from 32" to 29" it is crack free. So with a lighter insert and point, new fletching and nock the arrow can still be used.

If you don't want to BUY a lot of new arrows and or make them last a lot longer you might want to foot them, front and rear(I use 2117 2ich up front 1/4 rear)
Here's Ryan's way

It bites to lose an arrow, but it means you are shooting well!
Way to go,

I think it might be even "better" if the arrow you hit is your buddies !

Better to break one than to lose one
