Hello everyone! This is my first post on this forum, though I've been lurking about a bit for a few weeks now, and I figure if anyone can answer my questions, you guys can.
To make a long intro short, I breed/train horses, including horseback shooting. I've decided to round that out with archery, as well. I've already ordered a Samick SKB for practice purposes, but I've been speaking with Lukas over at Saluki about a proper bow for the task.
Lukas has recommended the Damascus bow or the Mameluke Hybrid. My biggest question, really, concerning these bows is: Is there a performance difference between his fiberglass and his hybrid bows? I've heard great things about his fiberglass line on this forum and others, with many people really being impressed with his Ibex.
Before anyone states the obvious, I am quite aware that the more cash for the hybrid isn't going to make me a better archer, and I know I will be waiting quite a while for one of these.
Thanks for reading!

Both are great performers , I wouldn't say there is a huge difference but more preference if you want glass or not . I really like the turk bow myself and they really smoke an arrow. Drew

Love his Ibex. Lukas is a master. Really its down to money. I think based on my experience with the Ibex I trust that all Lukas' bows shoot superbly. You just have to decide how much you want to spend. Know that the true horn composite bows are like a living sculpture though so require more care and attention.
