We'll still be doing a few of the longer episodes of Backcountry college but we're just now starting a new version of short, to the point videos. Here's the first.
A pack trip into the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness with with my supervisor a few years back inspired this short video. He was duct taping the lid onto 12" Dutch oven in order to keep them together and not rattling around while on the trail. I like my way better. :D
As always, share it with friends you think might dig it. ch

I like it! I'm looking to add some anodized aluminum Dutches to our kit for our horse back elk hunt this fall. Can you recommend a good brand and outlet?

Gotta die of something Fujimo. Might as well be some awesome Dutch oven camp food.
Great tip Clay.

Ha... These are anodized, meaning they're hardened. They don't scrape off in your food like regular aluminum will. They're about 20% more expensive but well worth it. Some hot peach cobbler at the end of a long day chasing elk is a fine thing indeed :)

Thanks, it took me a little while to get that one perfected.
