A group of us MTB er's was talking this morning about a spring (March) hog hunt somewhere. Not one of us knew anything about them so I am looking for some info on a possible spring hog hunt.

True South Adventures has good prices and top notch service. I personally have not been there but a coupe people that you and I both now have and highly recommend them.

True South is on my to-do list, but also try Wild Things in Estill, SC. Andrew's hospitality is worth every penny. And his food is the bomb-ditty!
-
Been to True South several times and will be there again this winter. Look no further

I used to hear a lot about Shiloh Ranch, but not lately. They still in business?
I'm planning on doing some kind of DIY for hogs in March but not sure where. Want to do a public land Hunt. I have way more time than money :)

What do you guys want out of your hunt?
If you are a group who wants to stalk out of the bunkhouse into a few thousand acres, get away from the world for 6-7 days, and you enjoy sipping a beverage by a fire all night; Wild Things.
If you are a group who would enjoy having your own private hotel rooms, go out to a different restaurant every night, and get really serious about shooting a hog for 3 days in the middle of your vacation; True South Adventures.
Those are just generalities, but hopefully it gets you thinking about what will fit your group best for this hunt. On your next hog hunt you might have different desires and want to go with the other outfit.
I should note that Wild Things is already fully booked for March of 2016, closest opening for a group of up to 8 hunters is mid April.

I have the place for you it is in Rocksprings TX.I have taken many hogs a year off of this place the last several years and done several magazine articles about hunts on this ranch. Let me know a head count and how many days and I will get you a price.
I can be there and help you out while on your hunt. This ranch also has a bunch of exotics that you can take on a trophy fee basis with the ranch owner but the hogs are all that you can kill while your there.

I've been to Wild Things a couple of times now and I'll be there again in January. You can sit a stand or blind or still hunt all day...your choice. That's what I like about it. We had terrible weather the first day so it was ground blinds for all. Only my nephew connected that evening. Next day it dried out so blinds morning and evening and still hunting at midday. My brother had his chance but just grazed the porker. The last day I still hunted my way to what looked like a nice boar but he must have seen me just as I got in range because he was up and out of range in about half a second lol.. I enjoy hunting down at Andrew's place. He is a great host, the property and facilities are first rate and the price is entirely reasonable. For what its worth...

Osceola Outfitters would be my recommendation. I've been going for the last 12 years or so, and EVERYONE kills a hog or five, or even seven--every year. Stands, spot-n-stalk or dogs. Whatever you like, and whatever it takes. Hoppy and his crew will make sure you have a great time and kill hogs.

This Spring will be my 9th trip to Wild Things (formerly Hog Heaven).
The cypress swamp is such a cool place with wildlife at every turn. Still hunting that part of the property is like nothing you have ever done before. Just awesome.
Ladder stands and blinds are also there with most getting action on a regular basis. We always mix it up throughout the hunt, still hunting during the day and a stand in the evening.
The hogs are there. If you do your part you stand a good chance at a close encounter. True wild free range hunting. Not a gimmee, but I wouldn't want that anyway. I've had my chances but hog fever caused a couple arrows to miss the mark. Waaay cool! :)
Andrew is not only a great host and superb camp cook but a real friend. His camp is second to none in comfort, cleanliness, and southern charm.
Click on the Wild Things banner at the top to get all the details. Good luck!

I hunted with Mule Creek Outfitters in west Texas this past March. I highly recommend the place. Jacob is a great guy and tireless worker for his hunters. I can't say enough good things about him.
-
I can get you a three day hunt for 600.00 a head at the Texas Ranch and no limit on hogs.

I have been on the Osceola Outfitters (Kempfer) property many times. It is as true to wild Old Florida as you will find anywhere. Lots and lots of hogs. However.... March starts the turkey season and you'll likely have difficulty finding open dates anywhere in Florida aside from the first week.
