Sorry to hear about the loss of a good man. But, as you say, he is on the other side, so ever how good things might have been here, he is still in a better place. Prayers will be sent.

Fred was quite a character. He was "old school" all the way. I will miss him.

Tdog, et al,
Got this via email, attributed to Clint Eastwood which I cannot substantiate, but the message is fitting (I edited out the closing part which was political, for those who may have also received in it's entirety):
As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end.
There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more."
No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat. It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood."
-
BTW, prayers for Peace that passes all understanding to be with the family and friends of your departed friend...

Prayers for the family and friends.

I didn't know Mr. Gentile, but I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. He, and his family and friends, are in my prayers.

I used to run into Freddie at Art Sperls archery shop. Always laughing, busting balls etc...the type of guy you wouldn't mind sharing a bow hunt with or a day shooting 3D. Sorry for the loss of Freddie.

Met Fred many many years ago at Muzzy and became good friends even though we only saw each other once a year.
Muzzy wasn't the same when he stopped going... missed that "froggy" voice of his.....super guy....sorry Fred...he was one of the best...
-
Curt.. Fred was the one who got me into the Stump shoot.. A couple years after his health went south..He put the Muzzy a side. Art and Fred would come up to shoot the course just for old times. A man that handle a bow like it was attached to him.. To me this Muzzy is all about John and Freddy..

Another thing I'll always remember about Fred is the rolled leather rest he used on the shelf, never saw anyone else use it, sure worked for him.....he'll be missed, but we'll always have the memories...

A mark of love to be carried on.
