hey guys I have always used an adaptor and glue on heads. However this year I went the the 135grn eskilites. I built a spin tester but, I am not entirely sure just how to get them spinning perfect. Do I need to put pressure on the ferrule? heat them up? or what? Also these are 135 my fp's are 125 I figure after sharpening they aught to be pretty close.

Hhm, do they have the adapters in already? If so I'd heat them up
-
Do you put them on the arrows and then test them. Maybe the arrows have a little wobble.
-
10gr wont make much difference. do they spin right with your fieldpoints installed? and if they do I would use an aluminum arrow, head the heads up and adjust like normal. pretty sure they are still heat glue not epoxy. if the field points do not spin true you can get a little hand held truer that will grind the end of your insert flush. I think G5 makes them.

I haven't even tried them yet they should be in the mail pretty soon. I am simply anticipating that I will need to adjust these as most broadheads take a little tweaking. I was just curious about the methods used to get them spinning nice and straight.

if your arrows are straight your homemade spin tester will let you know
just a simple v notch in a board with a nail at point

I just took 4 nails and made 2 V,s with them on my bench. All my broad heads are nice and straight no issues Ty zwickey!
