So about a month ago I bought a Kodiak mag for $30.00 from a yard sale. It had 2 very small holes in the belly right above the shelf. I finally got around to fixing the holes, then I built a string for it and OMG this bow shoots like a dream. I think I just found my new blind hunting bow. Short and a sweet shooter. Right now I have the brace at 8.25, can anyone tell me if I am close to what it should be. This is 45#@28".
Thanks

I have been bracing mine at 8-1/4 but it had stretched to 7-3/4 - twisted it up and went and shot it.......put it back at 7-3/4 (well maybe closer to 7-7/8). It's a bit louder at 8-1/4.
