Dad and I took our yearly trip north of Topeka for a few days of sitting in a tree. At 9:50, I had a big doe with her two yearlings come by at about 15 yds. I decided to take one of the yearlings and dumped the string.
The Snuffer SS centered one of her long bones, drove through to the front of the heart and one lung. She struggled up the adjacent hill and didn't even make the crest before succumbing to the damage.
My goal is one antlered and one antlerless per year, so I'll be going out just to enjoy being there with family and may try and tag a Pope and Young squirrel!
