Hello everybody!
I've been eyeing many of Scott's td recurves and really like everything about them. However, I haven't been able to find much about them regarding performance and most importantly smoothness, quietness and all the help one can get in the pointability department. To those who own or have shot one: what do you think?
Cheers and thanks!
Pat.

Very smooth & stable bow. Well made and also has a very comfortable repeatable grip. Performance as far as FPS and silence are good in my opinion. Plenty fast enough obviously just not a "speed bow".
Scott Mitchell is a first rate bowyer and his customer service is outstanding

Pat, I'm fortunate to live close enough to Scott that I stopped by his shop one day this summer. I was able to shoot the one I was looking to buy. The craftsmanship is great and the price on the Strike was right. I put a SBD string on mine and it's nice and quiet. Shoots plenty fast and the grip is good. I don't see many up for sale often used.

Good bows. Both his longbow and takedown recurve have been winners for me.

I love Timberhawk bows! I own a bunch of them. They are quiet and shock free. The best feature, in my opinion, is the grip. It is really sculpted and will fit your hand like a glove. Very repeatable. Also, Scott is one of the finest people that you will ever meet! You won't go wrong with a Timberhawk bow.
