Title: Speedy Sharp and single bevels
Post by: SuperK on December 11, 2015, 03:17:00 PM
A buddy of mine gave me a Speedy Sharp as a gift.  I have been playing around with it and I have found it to be great for sharping single bevels.   I might even be "the best" field sharping tool for them. ( Maybe even better than a file?)  Small, light and inexpensive.  No, I don't have any association with them but I just wanted to let the Gang know about it.  Maybe somebody else will try one and reports back how it works for them.

Sorry, but I can't do pics, etc.  Google speedy sharp and you can go to their website.  Hope this helps.

I'm going to look it up because my sharpening skills leave much to be desired.

I've had one of these for years to touch up knives and such.

I strapped one to my mora fireknife with sections of rubber innertube.  A great, light field tool.  Never tried it on single bevels but used it on my magnus journeymans before.
