Arrows for 50@27 Thunderstick Mag

I just traded a bow and acquired a 58" thunderstick mag. 50@27. Im drawing 27 on the dot and using a string made by 10 ring, it is a 12 strand fast flight fury material i think?  I have a large variety of arrows and point weights on hand.  I know that this bow is cut 1/16 before center.  All the bows I have owned have been center cut or past center.  Generally I know that this will require a somewhat weaker arrow than expected being cut before center.  Any jumping off points my fellow mag owners can suggest?  I was hoping to use 1916's but maybe 2016s are a better choice?

I shoot a 50@28 d/r cut to center ,it likes gt500s at 30" with 200 up front.  Every bow seems to have its preference. I'm betting on the 2016s. ...

so far I have shot 3 or 4 arrows out of it and a 28" 1916 with 125 grain point flies ok, but is a little light in total arrow weight.  I'd like to be in the 500-550 range.  I have some 2016's to play with and 3555's.

Only tuning yourself will tell, but I would bet the 1916's will work just fine.

I didn't think my bow would use .500s but listened to Big Jim and he was right on.

Similar specs and when I switched to 500s I was a lot happier.

I suspect with a broadhead he 1916 might show a bit weak.  A 2016 should allow you to go with a heavier point and get the total weight up where you want it.  Play with field point weights until you are paper tuned or bareshafted to perfection then shoot broadheads to match.

Well I can't speak for aluminums, as I shoot wood... and that said, my 58" Mag, with a FF string, seems to like a dynamic spine a few pounds lower than the weight of the bow ( 45 @ 28, I draw 28).

But really, this gives me an opportunity to say, I like your taste in bows!

I shoot A 50 @27 Super D and 2018s with 200 up front fly great. It also shoots 3 rivers trad only 500s with 200 really well. All cut TO
 28 1/2". I have noticed different strings do however change things dramatically.

I have a 56" TSM 50# at 25". It shoots a 27" 1916 with 150gr Woodsman perfectly.
