AC, I haven't used one but did a ton of research prior to buying a new climbing stand.  I had intended to buy a Hazemore for my older Summit but instead bought a Summit Elite.

The posts I read seemed to indicate that if the Hazemore was strung too tightly it had a tendency to cut off the circulation in one's legs.

I'm sure you will get more first hand info but wanted to help if I could.

I have used them on several occasions and I tend to prefer them more tight than loose.  For me, if they are slightly tighter it makes a better seat.  If they are too loose then it seems to want to kind of squish your legs together as you are seated.  I usually just get mine snug tight and after some use they loosen up just a bit and it is very comfortable.

I don't like it tight
I tie it at the ends so it moves easily when I want to push it back and stand an lean against the tree

I have them on all my climbing stands. I tie the net part snug but not tight and the solid front part loose..the net part will stretch a little after you use it. you may have to find what works best for you. One of my friends uses paracord to tie his "Silent Seats" together.

If you've got the right size for your treestand, just do exactly as the instructions say.

Too tight and it won't slide back as easily. Unless you are the size fellow that's tight for your stand in the first place, I don't think you can make it too lose anyway.

But yeah, some slack is preferred.

I just bought on for my API climber and installed it per the instructions. The main reason I bought it was I sat too low in the factory seat so I could not get my top section low enough for limb clearance when shooting. Installed per the included instructions I was still too deep into the frame of the top section so I used zip ties to take up enough slack in it so it still slid back when I stand up but also kept me higher in the seat so I could lower the top section enough to get clearance for those closer shots.

I've read where some people had problems with the square knot working loose on theirs after a while but if you put a drop of super glue on each knot after you tie it they won't work loose.
