I'll second what Biggie said. No one will put more effort into giving you a great hunt than Eldon.

Eldon is the best. His website does not reflect his skill as a guide and hunter. You'de do better calling him. He hunts exclusively with a longbow himself. Here's Eldon and a happy young hunter. Anyone know the old guy in the pic?

Bill, the old guy in the last picture is Biggie Hoffman, although Eldon is no spring chicken either! The young fella is Dan Widdick from Jupiter Fl. with his first bear!

Good guy...a-yep.
Take a treestand with you. If you see big bears circling the baits, use your stand and move out 75 yards downwind.
Shoot a big one.

You might also want to contact the Oxbow Lodge in Oxbow Maine. They are a great outfit. I went there moose hunting but they have a great bear hunting set-up and they run a first rate outfit. They have a web site you can get additional info on.
