rancho safari ?
« on: October 17, 2007, 10:44:00 PM »
i ordered a shaggie online last sunday. i have tried calling every day since with no return call from them, no email returns.  anyone know if perhaps they are out of town hunting? youd think theyd post on their site if they were. any comments on experiences youve had dealing with this company?

They are great to deal with. I ordered a pair of Cat Prowlers on Friday(10/5) and it was here the next Thursday(to Mississippi). They're probably out somewhere.

Got my short ghillie delivered fast.  Of course I ordered mine before the season started.  They may be swamped ATM.

Jerry has a lot of things he does-hunts, goes to shows to demo his stuff and the like.  Chances are he's on top of your order-actually his "girls" are. If you don't get it in 10 days, get back on the phone

Great fella to do business with. Listens well, explains well, asks the right questions, ships FAST.

I placed an order 11 days ago and still haven't heard back. Everytime I try and call I get a busy signal. No responses to emails either...what's up?

I noticed the web site is back up. It was down right after his shop burned down in the fires. Maybe he is still trying to get things back in order becuase he usually is very good to deal with

remember, web sites are usually hosted, and the hosting company usually has some sort of disaster recovery plan in place that gets them back up long before their customers. Heck, the hosting company could be in another state. If it were me I'd wait on ordering anything until there is an update on the web site saying they are re-opened for business.

Does anyone have a good contact for rancho? I've tried emails and the phone number listed on their site. I placed an order 12 days ago, not knowing they had a fire and were temp. shut down. I am still hopeful as their suits look awesome.

Wasn't there a post on here that mentioned that this place burnt down in the recent Calif. fire and everything was lost?

That's a shame, I had heard good things about his company. I will look elsewhere for what I need.
