Age an Osage riser?
« on: October 18, 2007, 10:05:00 AM »
Would it be possible to age a new riser made of osage more quickly by placing it under an ultraviolet lamp?  I love the look of aged osage but the bright yellow stuff .......NADA.

Any other sugestions?  Thanks,
Brant

Just leave it in the sunlight.  It'll take a week or two to get rid of the bright yellow.  Assuming your finish isn't UV protective.
