Help with XX75 shafts
« on: February 14, 2016, 05:05:00 PM »
I have some old 2213 shafts.

At 29.25" finished length with 125 gr up front, where does this fit as far as spine vs. poundage range?

50-55?  55-60? Out of a Tall Tines recurve.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Bit light but probably good. If cut 3/16 past center should not be a problem up to 55. I would not be going with any heavier heads though.

God bless, Steve

Easton lists the deflection as .458".  Should be close in spine but a light weight shaft.

I used that size foe awhile from my 55# Wes Wallace LB. it is close in weight to 2114 but for those with a longer draw the diameter added some spine. If I remember they had a tendency to break like the X7.

2213s fly great out of my 53 # Dryad, 54# Baraga , and my 48# Super D. 29" 125/145 up front. 2018 are very similar in spine but a bit heavier and fly just as good. Love shooting aluminum.
