Help with carbons

I usually shoot wood with trad gear but I think carbon is probably going to be the best bet for my Africa hunt. I am going to be shooting 190gr BH's with 100gr steel adaptors and 100gr brass inserts. It will also have the 20gr. outsert/footing. I want to use the GT trad blems from Big Jim's but I'm not sure what spine to go with having it front loaded like that. They will be shot from a 63# brachenbury shadow recurve, that I believe is center cut but not past. It can only use B50 strings. Arrows can be as short as 28.5" back of point if need be. Will have 3 4" feathers and nock collar. What is the general opinion on the most likely spine that will best work? I know trimming and tuning will be involved and I'm assuming the .300 spine is what I will be looking at, but before I spend the money I thought I'd ask people with more knowledge on it than me.

Ask Big Jim. He can give you good advice. Withthat much weight up front, I think it will be at least .340, and maybe .300?

Call me crazy..

I think you need a .350 spine arrow. That is with me ASSUMING that your draw is 27.5 due to arrows being able to be cut down to 28.5".

Jim shoots 300's out of high 60's with 300+ grains out from and has a legit 31+" draw. That's a lot of power stroke.

Just my opinion though. If you pm me, I have a .350 I'll gladly ship to you if you pay shipping.

Thanks for the input. To be clear, I don't want it 28.5. Should be longer but I could go that short if needed. BH would touch the riser though. Generally my arrows are 29, but would fine fine longer too

Also I talked to Jim and he had a bunch of questions which I replied to but he didn't get back to me so I'm assuming he got busy. He asked about building out the side plate, which I'm fine with doing so I'm thinking going stiff- .300 spine, leaving long and building out if need be
