New-to-me McBroom enroute
« on: March 06, 2016, 07:51:00 PM »
I couldn't have done better if I'd designed it myself. I wanted an ASL that's a touch lighter than my 60# Hill Wesley Special. I can manage it, but truth be told after a while shooting my form goes down pretty hard. I won't get rid of it, but something new was needed for those long round days. I found Brianlocal3's McBroom ASL. He knows his way around a bow so I like his combination; 68", 48# @ 26" (my draw), back set, Cedar limbs, bubinga riser, brown glass back, white glass belly. I've wanted to try a white glassed bow, I hope I like it. Since its on the belly, I feel no qualms about using it for hunting.
