Kingwood is one of my favorites. Kingwood riser and tulip limb veneers or zebra veneers or tigerwood veneers----maybe Bowjunkie is right    :bigsmyl:

I will post some pics tonight of my Cari-bow Featherhorn.  Yew belly, cocobolo riser, kingwood back.

I have a bundle of gordeous kingwood veneers stashed I'll use under clear glass when the time is right.

I also have some nice flat sawn kingwood riser blocks.... but I don't think I'll put it all in the same bow

Sometimes that's the hardest part of making a glass bow... deciding on the wood combo.

This one has a kingwood riser with English yew veneers. I'm just finishing up one that has the exact same riser with walnut stained curly maple veneers. That one will be a couple of days drying before I can post a pic.

Love Kingwood and yew. Gets even better with age.
Plenty of options though, as said before not much wont go with it.

I really like the look of the yew against kingwood. Thanks for all the ideas, I'm not sure I have narrowed down any but that is half the fun.

Natural or light stained curly, quilted or Birdseye maple.  Tamo ash laurel burl.  Or some good kingwood veneers like these I cut up last week
