I have a Polaris Ranger for when I have to go far.

I have 2 feet for when it is not that far!

That's my problem. My feet are screwed up and the bike helps me to continue hunting.

My property is small, so I simply walk in. But I do have the tractor handy in case I need to haul anything out of the woods.

I use a bike also, fastest way to get from Point a to b , we have miles of gravel roads on state lands that are non motorized only. I welded me up aluminum frame packs on the back and front to quarter and pack my game out on.

I walk.  Unfortunately the public land near me is small enough that walking is the easiest.  I suppose a bike could work but I'm not sure it's worth the extra loading and loading for me.

That's a great solution to your problem with your feet though.  Nice job finding a way to continue hunting.  I have read of others doing the same thing.  It's quiet and allows you to get farther than those that walk.

I do mostly walk and walk a lot but there are times when I use a mountain bike and that's cool because I usually walk from where I park it also quite a ways

I walk as far as possible. I do not have a 4x4 so I probably miss out on a lot of hunting. But these last years it has been the peace and quite of the outdoors that has made "hunting" rewarding.
We were at the bike shop recently getting new tires on wife's bike. I saw what I would consider the ultimate "off road" bike. It was camo painted, had a frame made from 3" tritium stock, tires as big a small motor cycle. Looked like it could do it all by itself. When I inquired about the bike's weight I was told it was lighter than my wife's old mountain bike. You know, he was right! A mere $3K
