ILF -A Real Shooter

Had an opportunity to sling some arrows with my new Morrison ILF this morning and I must say that it's a real shooter. Smooth, stable in the hand, and shoots faster than any 60 pound bow I've shot. I'm shooting 31" 675 grain Beman 340 MFX Classics and they hit HARD. I told Bob to make me a bow with "character" so he came up with an interesting array of Macassar Ebony and Cocobolo.

Beautiful Morrison Gary, that's one of the best looking Morrison's I've ever seen. Been thinking if getting an ILF style bow myself. Congrats and thanks for sharing, Rich.

That's a really beautiful bow.I shoot nothing but ILF limbs now and sold my other bows.My risers are metal but looks like you might have the best of both worlds in that bow.

Just got back from taking the new bow on a tour of my local deer woods, no deer but I must say seeing the bow leaning against a tree enchanced the experience:^)

Man, that screw is begging for a antler burr. Even a piece of electrical tape.

That's what they make adhesive backed felt for Todd:^) I covered both screws with circular pieces of felt. I shot the bow back-to-back against my other bows this afternoon (5 different bowyers, all 60 pound bows)- and there's no comparison. This bow slams a heavy arrow like none of my others. Jason, the limbs are WinEx longs. Bob made the custom wooded ILF riser and matched it up with the limbs which he painted and covered with copperhead skins.
