Bighorn Bowhunting Co..... QUESTION
« on: October 20, 2007, 02:58:00 PM »
I've been away for a while... Does the Bighorn Bowhunting Co. still exist (Asbell's old co.)?

If so, can anyone give me their web address?

Thanks!   Tom

Tom, Ron Nelson is running Bighorn Bowhunting Co.
I've had good dealings with him;
 www.bighornbowco.com
This should get you to him..............Shick

Shick has it right.  I think Ron Nelson worked for Fred back when he owned the company.  I bought my 16 year old son a Ramhunter longbow from Ron about a year ago and gave it to him last Christmas.  It is a nice bow and shoots really well.

Thanks guys!  I bought my last bighorn when Fred was up at Ft. Collins.. kind of neat.. he let me walk around in his wood storage area and hand pick the stock for the handle.

I'll call Ron.  Thanks again!

I bought a long bow from Ron about 6 months back and have another on the way.  He has been good to work with.  Take care. Mike.

Bighorn Bow Company

He just made a new set of limbs for me for my Asbell era riser. Beautiful workmanship once he gets it to you. Takes a bit of patience though... The product is great but you might have to wait for it a bit.

He's usually quick to respond to email.
