Samick Sage One Piece Recurve
« on: April 12, 2016, 10:03:00 PM »
I had a box on my porch after work today.

It's 60", 45#@28", I draw 27". I set it up with a Bear Hair rest, whiskers, and nock. I set the brace and nock where I set all my bows. Then grabbed a back quiver of 1916's and headed to my range.

Within two dozen shots I was doing pretty well but the breeze was giving me a tail right. I headed to my bag course in the woods out of the wind. Before I got halfway around I was shooting it as good as my Brackenbury, which is pretty well. This bow and I are going to do some damage.  :)

For less than $200 to my door the Sage one piece is a pretty good bow.

Don't ask for pics. It's beyond my skill set.

I did not know they made a one piece Sage?

Have fun with your new bow!

There is a new Sage Deluxe (takedown recurve), a Sage 68" longbow, and the Sage 1pc recurve. I was tempted by the longbow, but the recurve tugged a little harder.

If it has the same string as the one that came with the td version, an upgrade will do wonders for it.  I like 20 strands of BCY-X.
