As a 7 year member of TRADGANG , I enjoy reading the various threads on the multitude of forums avaiable to us. HOWEVER...I notice that the POW WOW forum get waaaay more attention than say collectors or shooters form forum.  If a thread gets moved to there its almost the kiss of death as it receives less than half the attn it will get on Pow Wow...!!!  SOOOOOO....I guess this is just a shout out to the membership to remind them to peruse the other forums equally so all questions get the attn they deserve. Its the whole reason trad events are now listed on Pow Wow as well.....more exposure. Hope   everyone agrees....!!! Check em' all out gents.....just my two cents....John

It seems to me that ALL the forums, including pow wow, have been getting much less participation than in the past.  It seems many of the old faithful are spending more time with the competition and seldom visit TG.

I do way more lurking than contributing here, just trying to soak everything in. This is the only archery forum I ever come to anymore. This place seems to be the best forum I've ever been a part of. I really enjoy reading everything on here, regardless of where it is located. Thanks to everybody for the great info and stories, it makes for a great place to visit.

TG is the single most civil and informative trad site on the net.  There are others that are equally civil but usually because of limited traffic. Even if traffic is down, when you compare the value here, TG beats all, IMO.

Just one man's opinion, but I preferred the Trad Events form being separate because it was a quick easy place to find info about shoots.  Yes, an announcement for a shoot might get seen by more people in the Pow Wow, but my fear is that it might get buried too quickly and I miss it if I'm not on Trad Gang for a couple days (which often happens when I'm out of town for work).

But then again, I got buddies like jackdaw to keep me informed on what's happening  ;)

Thx guys...I agree..!! John Sweka Is correct, things get buried quickly on Pow Wow....that's my point.  Pow Wow get POUNDED....But some people never check the other forums sometimes for weeks at a time...???? Of course most of them are civil, I just wish threads got similar viewing.....

I have so little time for computer work outside of that required during the day, that I rarely get on for more than a few minutes a day.  I am done with screen time usually.  I have had much less on the site than I used to.

I spend less time here but it isn't because of other sites.  In fact, I used to spend about 95% here and 5% on LW. But now I go to LW 0% and here 100% of forum time.  I just don't spend as much time on the forum as I used to.

I do check the Dangerous Game and a couple other forums here at TG. I also peruse the Traditional Bow Classifieds some times.  I also like the Knife sponsor forum just to see beautiful art pieces that I would be unlikely to purchase.

I'm as likely to search out youtube hunting videos (DIY) on things I'm thinking of hunting than anything else.

Once or twice a day I will first come here for a few minutes then I go the Blacktail site to see if any new bows have been posted. Then I go to Fox and USA today to see what the politicians (lawless class) are getting by with today.

I like that the shoots and gatherings are now on the PowWow.  They've been swept under the rug for years and are a viable place for trad bowhunters to meet and shoot.  Heck I met my longtime hunting partners at a shoot years ago.

If you 'self proclaim' that all you come here for is the Trad Events forum, then you want to gripe about it, well, I'm so sorry for your inconvenience.

Non-Hunting Trolls removed.
