Boo backed Jatoba

Been working with Jatoba lately since I ran out of Osage, Got a bunch coming next week. This bow is 66" ntn and pulls 48# at 28" mild deflex reflex. Deer antler for the tip overlays. Tha riser is Pau Fero with Bloodwood accent strip. Usally put black leather over the handle but the wood on this one was to nice to cover up

Very Nice!Beautiful wood combinations. I just got a Turkey Creek longbow a while ago and Doug used Jatoba on the riser and overlays. It came out very nice.Lighter than my Diamond Wood Creek .How's she shoot?

Buck, That one looks better than the one you had in the shop the other day. Sounds like you found some more Osage, maybe a Boo , Osage and Jatoba Tri-lam next. Glenn

What are the dimensions?
I made a 68" BBJ. 60# @ 31"
13" riser, 1 3/8" at the fades with a straight taper to <1/2" tips. Mine has stronger Reflex/Deflex.
I've been hunting with it a bit this year, but no luck yet.
I like mine a LOT!
I like yours a LOT. Especially the riser.
