Yassas.I just returned from an amazing trip to Greece. I stayed in my grandfather's village in the Peloponnese region of Greece, town of Achladokampos. The town was known originally as a place that had many pear trees that attracted wild boar! Irony?(many of you know that I'm a hog hunting nut)
I took my cousins out shooting one day. Neither had ever shot a bow. I had packed along my Bear Minuteman, 45#. A bit stout for beginners but that's all I had. Aggeleki took to it like a Greek to olives. She even held at full draw(I've heard that people do that:)
We found some old foam and constructed a "trojan rabbit" to shoot at.
Our range was an acropolis next to a church. It's the first 3000 year old archery range that I've been to.
I need to bring a lighter bow next summer for Michalis. He was game but he was overbowed. He still enjoyed launching flu flus, though. Hope you enjoy the pics and video.
